Learn Spanish, relax, have fun...

The Academy of Arts and Languages is situated in the heart of this beautiful, safe city, with a pleasant sub-tropical climate all year round.

Whilst you take classes with us, you can take time to get to know this beautiful city, enjoy its fantastic climate (15º-27º c), check out the local sights and nightlife, sunny beaches, practise sports such as surfing, kite surf and wind surfing, paragliding, or visit its interesting archeological sites, ancient geoglyphs and thousand year old mummies. There is also the opportunity to take a trip into the Andes mountains to see the breathtaking natural beauty: volcanoes, hot springs, one of the highest lakes in the world, unique cacti, as well as the fascinating wildlife (llamas, vicuñas, chinchillas, vizcachas, alpacas and guanacos). In addition, there is a "Salsoteca" called "Vieja Habana" very near to the Academy, where you can dance and take Salsa lessons for a very cheap price.

Regarding food and drink, Arica has two valleys where a large variety of fresh fruit and vegetables are grown. There is also fresh fish and seafood available everywhere.
There are some good restaurants and even two 100% vegetarian places to eat, very close to the Academy. Don't miss out on the freshly squeezed tropical fruit juices!!!

To learn Spanish the key is to always immerse your self in the culture, so as long as you go to a Spanish speaking country you should be fine.

That is the best thing if you want to stammer or babble a language, like a baby does. If you want to speak properly, be understood and express what you really want to say, you must study the grammar and be corrected by a professional.
